At lymass, we operate as a listing platform that connects buyers and sellers. We do not own, control, inspect, sell, or deliver any items listed on the Platform, and we do not handle payments.
Accordingly, all refunds, returns, and dispute resolutions must be handled directly between buyers and sellers. This policy provides general guidance to help users understand their responsibilities.
The following policy outlines guidelines to help ensure fair and safe practices.
1. Refunds and Returns
- Buyer Responsibility: Buyers must carefully review listings, confirm item details, and inspect products before making any payment.
- Seller Responsibility: Sellers are encouraged to clearly state any return or refund terms within their listings.
- Agreements: Any refund or return arrangement is a private agreement between the buyer and seller. lymass does not guarantee, enforce, or mediate such agreements.
2. Disputes Between Buyers and Sellers
- Buyers and sellers should first attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication.
- In cases involving suspected fraud, counterfeit items, or material misrepresentation, users may report the matter to lymass administration.
- While lymass does not participate in financial dispute resolution, we reserve the right to take platform-level action (such as listing removal or account suspension) against users who violate our Terms & Conditions.
3. No Platform Liability
- lymass does not guarantee the quality, condition, safety, legality, or authenticity of items listed by sellers.
- lymass is not liable for any losses, damages, delays, or disagreements arising from transactions between users.
- Responsibility for refunds, returns, warranties, or exchanges rests entirely with the seller, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.
4. Recommended Best Practices
- For Buyers:
- Pay using safe methods such as cash on delivery.
- Inspect products thoroughly before payment.
- Keep proof of all communication and receipts.
- For Sellers:
- Provide accurate descriptions and original photos of items.
- Clearly state your return or refund policy in the listing.
- Honor any agreements made with buyers.
5. Fraudulent Activity
- Fraudulent, misleading, or dishonest behavior (including selling counterfeit goods or refusing agreed refunds) may result in account suspension or permanent removal from lymass.
- Serious cases may be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities in the Republic of Maldives, where required by law.
